(Change of Direction)
(Reaction)

This week, our little athletes practiced a variety of movement patterns with a focus on “Change of Direction”.
• We introduced simple and fun games like tag, zigzag running, and chase games that required kids to quickly change directions.
• They learned to coordinate their eyes and bodies — stopping suddenly, spinning, and dodging friends playfully.
• The highlight of the week was seeing how the children became more confident in movement, learned how to control their balance, and enjoyed running with purpose.
In the second week, we brought lots of energy to the class with Plyometric training to develop muscle strength and body control.
• The kids practiced various types of jumps — two-foot jumps, jumping over soft obstacles, directional jumping (forward and sideways), and continuous hopping.
• Activities were designed to be safe and confidence-building using soft foam blocks and hurdles as equipment.
This week focused on Agility and Reaction, helping kids improve their responsiveness and quick movement.
• We played games like “Red Light, Green Light,” whistle runs, and visual signal games where kids had to react instantly to cues.
• The children practiced listening closely and moving fast — changing positions, zigzag running, and jumping as soon as they heard or saw a signal.
• They became more responsive and really enjoyed the challenge of reacting quickly, while also learning to focus and wait for the right moment — a great balance of fun and discipline.
